Ashton Joseph Conroy Obituary
On Friday, February 28, 2025, Ashton Joseph Conroy passed away peacefully in his mother’s arms at Boston Children’s Hospital, after an almost year-long battle with leukemia. Ashton was a true warrior and fought valiantly until the very end. Ashton leaves behind his parents, Crystal (Manzi) Conroy and Christopher Conroy, his sister and best friend Adriana Conroy, and his beloved dog Chase. He also leaves behind his grandparents, Colleen and Mark Conroy, Darlene and Glen Dias, his Great Grandpa Joe and Great Grandma Carol, his aunts and uncles Shannon Conroy, Heather (Conroy) and Derek Larson, Ryan and Hannah Conroy, and Emmanuel Conroy, as well as his cousins Lily Conner, Jordan, Aiden, and Mason Larson, and all of his friends at Ree-Ree’s daycare. Ashton loved being outside, whether it was going for walks, camping with his family, or being pushed on the swings. He loved playing with his ball, listening to music, and you could always find him with his iconic hand in his mouth. Ashton had a true joy for life and a spirit so bright that lit up every room he entered. He touched the lives of everyone he met, and we will forever miss his bright, beautiful blue eyes and sweet, deep belly laughs.
The family would like to send their gratitude to their incredible medical team at Boston Children’s Hospital, as well as to everyone in “Ashton’s Army”. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Ashton’s honor to Magic for Maddie at www.magicformaddie.com, Brittney’s Believers at www.brittneysbelievers.com, or Strong Little Souls at www.stronglittlesouls.com.
