Barbara Ann (Brogle) Bresnahan

Barbara Ann (Brogle) Bresnahan, age 85, passed away peacefully May 11, 2023 at home. She was born in Holyoke, daughter of the late Edmund and Anna (Fahey) Brogle and attended Holyoke schools. Barbara was a teacher’s aide in the Holyoke Public Schools for many years. She was a longtime parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Church in Holyoke. Barbara was predeceased by her husband Thomas M. Bresnahan in 2006. She is survived by a daughter, Maggie Bresnahan; three sons: Patrick Bresnahan, Daniel Bresnahan and his wife Linda, and Kevin Bresnahan and his wife Joanne; eight grandchildren: Colleen, Sean, Amanda, Melissa, Alexandria, David, Grace, and Leo; a great-grandchild Koda; a brother Paul Brogle; a sister, Janet Griffin; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Marilyn Rogers and Judy Pepin. The funeral will be held Saturday May 20th at 10:30am from the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30am in Blessed Sacrament Church, 1945 Northampton Street. Burial will take place in Saint Jerome Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday May 19th from 4:00 to 7:00pm.
