Carlos L. Rodriguez, Jr.

Carlos L. Rodriguez, Jr., age 49, passed away February 1, 2023 at Baystate Medical Center. Carlos was born in the Bronx, New York. He is the son of Carlos L. Rodriguez, Sr. and Iris Borrero. Unknowingly, he impacted the lives of everyone he crossed paths with. He spread love and kindness wherever he went, lighting up every room he entered. He leaves behind to cherish in his memory his wife, Ivette Collazo-Rodriguez; his three children, Nathaniel Rodriguez, Michaela Rodriguez, and Lucia Rodriguez; his brother, Jason Rodriguez of Lagrangeville, NY; his sisters, Rosalind Rivera and Maria Borrero, and his in-laws, Carmen and Samuel Collazo. Carlos also leaves an immense extended family including his three favorite sisters-in-law, cousins, and lifetime friends whom he loved dearly. The family would like to extend gratitude to everyone who cared, loved, and supported for him over the years. The family also sends their thanks to those who provided exceptional medical care: Dr. Amanda Kravitz, Dr. Barbara Greco, his therapist, Lisette Cruz, and his favorite nurse, Bailee Richardson.

A prayer service and celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, February 7th at 6:15pm in the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4:00pm to 5:00pm for immediate family, and 5:00pm to 7:00pm for the public. In lieu of flowers, donations could be made in memory of Carlos to American Kidney Fund via www.kidneyfund.org.
