Carnedius "Tony" Adkins

Carnedius “Tony” Adkins, age 79, a 55-year resident of Holyoke, passed away at his home on Sunday, November 12, 2023. He was born in Caryville, TN, son of the late Jonah and Dolly (Sellers) Adkins and was educated there. Tony worked as a machine operator for many years, retiring after 25 years of service to Hazen Paper Company. He survived by his wife of 55 years, Freda Fay (Wilburn) Adkins; two daughters, Felisa Adkins and Melissa Collazo, both of Holyoke; a brother, JD Adkins of Georgia; a sister, Brenda Adkins of Chicopee; two grandchildren, Zachary Adkins and Adrian Collazo, and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held for Tony on Thursday, November 16th from 4:00 to 5:30 pm at the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke, followed by a brief service beginning at 5:30 pm. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
