Carol A. (LaFountain) Davies

Carol A. (LaFountain) Davies, age 80, of Holyoke, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at Regal Care at Holyoke. She was born in Springfield, and was the daughter of the late Normand and Doris (Boivin) Perreault. Carol worked for many years as a Certified Nursing Assistant at several local nursing homes, and was a faithful communicant of Blessed Sacrament Parish in Holyoke. She is survived by a daughter, Darlene M. Morton and her husband John of Holyoke; a son, Allen G. Davies and his partner Karen Levesque of Lincoln, ME; two grandchildren, Meghan Morton and her husband Matt Kelleher of Holyoke, and Kyle Morton and his partner Aubri Suarez of Turners Falls; a brother, Roger Perreault of Springfield, and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, September 19th at 9:00 am from the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at Blessed Sacrament Church, 1945 Northampton Street, both in Holyoke. Burial will follow in Saint Jerome Cemetery, 1666 Northampton Street, Holyoke. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Monday, September 18th from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association of MA/NH, 309 Waverley Oaks Rd, Waltham, MA 02452.
