Catherine (Imler) Tucker of Wilbraham died on Sunday, June 8, 2025 at age 93. She was born in Waltham, MA on May 18, 1932, to the late Rev. Daniel Joseph and Ruth Lee (Maston) Imler, and was raised in Belmont, MA. Catherine graduated from Belmont High School in 1949 and then received her Bachelor of Science in Education from Lesley College. She taught school in Needham, Belmont, Amherst, and Wilbraham before stepping away to focus on family. When she wasn't being "Mom" or "Grandmother," Catherine enjoyed playing Bridge, golfing at Wilbraham Country Club, and participating in The Woods Book Club. She was an active member of Wilbraham United Church where she participated in many different groups including Women's Evening Fellowship and proudly served as the chairman of the 250th celebration of the congregation. Catherine loved to travel and always cherished the time she spent with her family on Lovell Lake in New Hampshire and in Cotuit on Cape Cod, and with her friends on The Vineyard and in Naples, FL. Catherine was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Donald C. Tucker, on August 29, 2006, and her beloved son, Donald W. Tucker on February 12, 1992. She is survived by her daughters, Carol T. Avery and her husband Keith of Ludlow and Sanbornville, NH, and Beth S. Tucker of Wilbraham and Sanbornville, NH; her daughter-in-law, Donna T. Farrell and her husband Barry of Holyoke; her grandchildren: Ashley T. Vanasse (Garrett), Donald W. Tucker, Jr. (Meghan), Ryan T. Kiniry (Lindsey), Tucker J. Avery (Ellen), Andrew W. Kiniry, Casey C. Avery, James B. Farrell (Colleen), and Margaret E. Palpini (Joseph); several great-grandchildren, and many dear nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to her parents, husband, and son, Catherine was predeceased by her three siblings: Ruth Imler, Jean Dyer, and Joseph "Bud" Imler. A service to celebrate Catherine's life will be held on Monday, June 16th at 11:00 am in Wilbraham United Church, 500 Main Street, Wilbraham, MA 01095. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. At Catherine's request, please wear bright colors to her service.
