Charlotte Strong Obituary

Charlotte A. (Johnston) Strong, 94, of Chicopee, was called to her heavenly home on October 9, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was laid to rest in Forestdale Cemetery during a private gathering on October 17.

Born in Holyoke, Charlotte was a lifelong resident of that city. She was a graduate of Holyoke High School, and a member of United Congregational Church. Charlotte cherished time spent visiting with her family and many friends. She was best known for her kind spirit and contagious laugh. Her family would like to express their gratitude to the wonderful nurses, doctors, and aides who cared for her.

Memorial donations may be made in lieu of flowers to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, or to the Shriners Hospital for Children. The Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home in Holyoke handled arrangements.
