Chester Libera

Chester Libera, age 79, of Holyoke, passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2021 at Holyoke Medical Center. He was born in Poland, son of Mikolaj and Leokodia (Cychowski) Libera, and came to the United States with his family in 1951. Chester worked in construction and manufacturing for many years, and retired from Nonotuck Wire Company. He is survived by his brothers: John Libera and his wife Joanne, and Henry Libera, all of Rhode Island; his sisters: Jane Domaszewicz of South Hadley, and Sophia Gardiner and Stella Gonyea, both of Florida, and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to a Graveside Service for Chester on Wednesday, February 10th at 11 am at Mater Dolorosa Cemetery, South Hadley. The Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
