Conor William Allyn

Conor William Allyn, age 23, died unexpectedly in Hampton, New Hampshire on December 3, 2022. The son of William (Billy) Allyn, Jr. and Kelly O’Connor, Conor was born in Holyoke on November 11, 1999.

Conor began his education at Holyoke’s Mater Dolorosa School and continued his education in the South Hadley Public Schools before moving to New Hampshire.  Conor was an avid sports fan and excelled in hockey and surfing.

As a young child and teenager, Conor spent summers on North Beach where his maternal and paternal grandparents spent summers and where Conor’s parents first met as teenagers. At a very young age, Conor fell in love with the beach. It was on North Beach that Conor discovered his love of surfing and eventually fulfilled his dream of surfing in Bali.

Conor’s handsome good looks and quick smile endeared him to all he met. His gentle ways and kindness will be remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Conor was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James O’Connor, Jr. and Ann Kelliher O’Connor. Left to cherish his memories are his parents (William [Billy] Allyn and Kelly O’Connor), his paternal grandparents (William Allyn, Sr. and Ruth [Whelihan] Allyn), his aunts and uncles, and many cousins. Also left to cherish Conor’s memory is his girlfriend, Sarah Wright, and countless friends.

Calling hours will begin at 10:00 AM on Monday, December 12 followed by a Memorial Service at 11:30 AM.  At the request of the family, all services are restricted to family and invited friends.
