Cynthia Arnold-Matthews, age 68, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2024 after a long illness. She was born in Morristown, New Jersey, a daughter of the late Theodore G. and Helen (Hall) Arnold. Cynthia held a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and a Master’s Degree in English. She was a Professor at the University of Nottingham, England as well as teaching at Springfield Technical Community College. Cynthia is survived by her loving sister, Patricia (Arnold) Lawless and her husband Robert of Kingwood, Texas; her nieces, Jenna Lawless Henry of Houston, Texas, Sara Lawless Quinn of Kingwood, Texas and their children. A private Celebration of Life will be held on January 16th.
