Daniel "Danny" Fernandez

Daniel Fernandez also known as Danny, age 60, of Holyoke, passed away at home surrounded by family and friends after battling cancer. He was born in Puerto Rico, and then moved to Massachusetts to raise his children. He was a very devoted father and family man.   He worked for many years as a factory worker.  Everyone knew him for his good sense of humor, kindness, and big heart. He is survived by his two children Jean Xavier Fernandez, and Kidanny Omil Fernandez; two grandchildren Kaylannie, and Tavone; sisters, Minerva Fernandez, Lourdes Gonzalez, Elizabeth Fernandez, Raquel Fernandez. His predeceased parents Sixto Fernandez, and Josefina Ayala Fernandez; predeceased brother Junior Fernandez.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2022, at the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke, MA, from 4 pm – 7 pm.
