Daniel M. Pearce Obituary

Daniel M. Pearce passed away at the age of 63. He grew up in Enfield, CT but Holyoke was home for most of his life. Dan was predeceased by his parents Amelia and Merrill Pearce Sr. He leaves behind his older brothers Joe Pearce and Wes Pearce and his longtime girlfriend Nancy Blais and her son, Christopher. He was an artist and avid outdoorsman. He did the artwork on his Enfield High School yearbook in 1980. Also, he loved nature and animals which came through in his artwork. He could identify almost any animal that was shown to him. Dan attended an art school in Columbus, Ohio and continued to draw and paint afterwards. Although he liked all art, he was a big fan of Science Fiction and Fantasy. One of the highlights happened when we went to the Frank Frazetta Art Museum in PA. who was one of his favorite artists. Dan was down to earth and is sorely missed. Dan also enjoyed music and liked the legendary guitar players such as Robin Trower and Jeff Beck being some of his favorite players. He did an excellent pen and ink drawing for me of one my favorite musicians, Todd Rundgren which I will always cherish.
