Dennis C Carboneau passed away peacefully at home in Holyoke MA, on Wednesday February 26, 2025. He was 72 years old. Dennis was born in Holyoke on February 3, 1953, the son of Donald and Margaret Carboneau. He is survived by his sister Joan Simard, and nieces, Margaret Simard and Alison Simard. Dennis was very proud of his nieces and all of their academic accomplishments. Dennis grew up in Holyoke and graduated from Holyoke Catholic in 1971. He earned his Bachelors from Holy Cross in 1975 and earned his Masters from Western New England College. Dennis was the owner of Riverview Machine in Holyoke from which he retired . Dennis was a generous man always supporting local Holyoke business and was a mentor at Dean Vocational High School for many years. Dennis loved spending his summers at his house in Dennis on Cape Cod, where he was an avid gardener and he spent his time taking care of all of his perennials, decorative shrubs and many trees. He will be greatly missed. Services will be private.
