We are sad to announce the loss of Dennis Milos, who passed peacefully at the Holyoke Medical Center 8/29/2025 after a short illness. Dennis was predeceased by his father and mother, Roman and Stella Milos. He leaves behind his daughter Jaime, and her husband Kyle Collins, his grandchildren Kennedy and Ezra of East Granby, CT and two brothers: Ray and his wife, Jeannine of Belchertown, MA and Gregory, of Los Angelos, CA. He will also be missed by his nephew Matthew Milos, niece Shauna Burdick, his great nephews and nieces Willam and John Burdick and Madeline and Emily Milos, as well as Jaime’s sister, Sara Tower. Dennis was raised in the Mater Dolorosa section in Ward 4 and lived in Holyoke all his life. He graduated from Holyoke High and Holyoke Community College. He was the owner and operator of Milos Security Products, providing lock and alarm services to the greater Holyoke and Springfield areas for nearly 45 years. He will be missed and fondly remembered by his family, friends, and customers, many of whom became friends, and by the many people he met at the various entertainment venues he frequented. He could often be found at the MassMutual Center for hockey and other events, music halls, restaurants, wrestling matches, and bowling leagues. Dennis will be remembered for his wit, personality, generosity, and adventurous outlook. The family will receive guests September 11, from 10am to noon at the Barry J. Farrell funeral home at 2049 Northampton St. Holyoke, MA 01040 with burial following at the Mater Dolorosa Cemetery at 152 Pittroff Ave., South Hadley, MA 01075. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made in his honor to the American Diabetes Association at diabetes.org.
