Diane Marie (Munsell) Hearn

Diane Marie (Munsell) Hearn, age 66, passed away on August 26, 2024 at Hartford Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Diane was born in Holyoke, daughter of the late Bob and Eleanor (Chagnon) Munsell, and was a graduate of Holyoke Catholic High School and Holyoke Community College. She retired from the VA Medical Center in Leeds where she worked in the pharmacy for many years.  She adored her grandchildren and devoted much of her time to caring for them in her retirement. She also enjoyed hosting family and friends for holidays and picnics by the pool.

Diane is survived by her husband of 44 years, Michael Hearn; two sons: Christopher Hearn and his wife Andrea, and David Hearn; four beloved grandchildren: Colleen, Alice, Robin, and Malcolm; her sister Michele Rufo; and her nephew and nieces Rob Rufo, Erin Samuels, and Meredith Sady.

Calling hours will be held Saturday, August 31 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm in the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke. There is no burial at this time.
