It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Diane Strange, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, who departed this life on June 8, 2025, just days shy of her 72nd birthday, surrounded by her loving family. Born on June 12, 1953, in Springfield, MA, Diane was the daughter of Vincent and Gurecia Frank, who preceded her in death, along with her older sister Patricia Werner. She was a shining light to all who knew her, known for her unwavering love and support, particularly for her cherished family. Diane is survived by her devoted husband of 52 years, Roger Strange Sr., a love that blossomed from their high school days and stood the test of time. Married in 1972, together they created a loving home filled with laughter, warmth, and kindness. Diane was the proud mother of two wonderful children, Tammy Jay of South Hadley, MA, and Roger "Boomer" Strange Jr. and his wife, Elizabeth Strange of Chicopee, MA. She carried immense pride in her role as a grandmother, doting on her grandchildren: Tyler Biller, Jessica (Biller) French and her husband Justin French, Nathanael Jay, Vinny Strange, and Dominick Strange. Each of her grandchildren held a special place in her heart, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Diane graduated from Trade High School in Springfield, MA in 1971, laying the foundation for her future endeavors. With a compassionate heart, she dedicated 20 years of her life as a Certified Nursing Assistant, providing care and comfort to those in need. She later transitioned to a role as a Purchasing Agent for Oncore Manufacturing in Springfield, where she worked for 21 years, demonstrating her strong work ethic and commitment to her professional life. In her leisure time, Diane found joy in reading, art, and crafts, showcasing her creative spirit. Her home was often filled with the sights and sounds of her creative and artistic endeavors. Above all, Diane was known for her nurturing and loving nature. She poured her heart and soul into her family, providing unwavering support and guidance.
