Donald E. Gasiorowski

HOLYOKE

Donald E. Gasiorowksi, age 88, of Holyoke, died December 23, 2021 at Baystate Medical Center. Donald was born in Holyoke, son of the late Peter and Stella (Parzyk) Gasiorowksi and attended Holyoke public schools. He graduated from Saint Michaels College with a Master’s Degree. Donald served in the United States Army from 1955 to 1957. He was an educator and principal in the Holyoke Public School system for over 30 years. Donald was a member of the Holyoke Canoe Club, NCCJ, Friends of UMass Fine Arts Center, and a board member of the Holyoke Creative Arts Committee. He is survived by his wife Anne (Rubin) Gasiorowski; son David Lucey and his wife Alice of Brookline, MA; Carol Lucey of Aspen, CO; and two grandchildren Henry and George. A private burial will be held for Donald in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam.
