Donald Mathieu Obituary

Donald J (Matt) Mathieu 83, passed away peacefully Sunday, March 29, 2020. He was born in Springfield and grew up in the South End. He worked over 30 years as a supervisor for Jahn Foundry in Springfield, Ma. He dabbled in antiques and collectibles for many years. He was predeceased by his parents Leo and Irene (Dion) Mathieu and his sons Mark and Michael Mathieu. He will be missed by his wife Sally Mathieu of Holyoke, Ma and his daughter Dori Mathieu of Westfield, Ma; grand-children Heather, Mark (JR), Michael, Jonathan, Haley and Dakota; and 9 great-grandchildren. Private burial will be held at the discretion of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to Holyoke Senior Center, 291 Pine Street, Holyoke, MA 01040. Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
