Donna (Dorman) Gemme

Donna (Dorman) Gemme, age 69, passed away peacefully at home Monday December 30, 2019. Donna was born in Holyoke, daughter of the late Francis and Phyllis (LaFlam) Dorman and was a 1968 graduate of Holyoke High School. She worked as an Instructional Assistant in the Belchertown Public School system for many years. Donna is the widow of Leonard Gemme. She is survived by her children: Sara Rooney and her husband Ryan of South Hadley, Jeremy Gemme and his wife Tina of Belchertown, and Matthew Gemme of Ware; seven grandchildren: Miranda, Kyle, and Connor Gemme, Cailyn and Carleigh Rooney, Edlen Gemme, and Julian Rooney; five siblings: John Dorman (Gail), Donald Dorman, Fran Dorman (Sandy), Kevin Dorman (Cindy), and Erin Baker (Tim); and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Donna was predeceased by her siblings Judy Morrisette, Gayle Bushey, and Timothy Dorman. Funeral services are private and at the convenience of the family.
