Doris J. “Judy” (Allair) Carriveau, age 80, of Granby MA, passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. She was born in Holyoke, a daughter of the late Napoleon and Doris (Healey) Allair and was a graduate of Holyoke High School. Judy worked as a clerk for many years for NYNEX, and was a communicant of Saint Anne church in the Fairview section of Chicopee. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Leonard C. Carriveau; two sons: Greg Carriveau and his wife Melissa of Shrewsbury MA and Michael Carriveau of Otis MA, five grandchildren: Benjamin Carriveau, Nathan Carriveau, Elizabeth Carriveau, Nicole Carriveau, and Luke Carriveau, and two great grandchildren: Rylynn Shedd and Weston Shedd. The funeral will be held Tuesday, November 12th at 10:30 from the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Church, 1945 Northampton Street. Burial will follow at Saint Jerome Cemetery. A calling hour will be held Tuesday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to: Shriners Hospitals for Children or St Jude Children's Hospital.
