Doris L. (Lafleur) Fortin, of Holyoke, passed away at 100 years old on Saturday May 10, 2025.  She had been a bank teller for many years for Holyoke Credit Union and Shawmut banks.  Doris was able to live at home and care for herself with minimal help from her family and her wonderful PCA Marie.  She was born to the late Arthur and Cora (Ducharme) Lafleur in Holyoke and was predeceased by her husband of 65 years Roger J Fortin, her brother Leonard Lafleur, her daughter and son-in-law Linda and Ralph Ferguson, daughter-in-law Mary Fortin, and one grandson. 

She is survived by her son Roger Fortin, daughter Michele Duval, 5 grandchildren, and 4 great- grandsons.

A prayer service will be held on Saturday May 17 at 11:00am in the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke, followed by burial in Notre Dame Cemetery, South Hadley. Calling hours will be held Saturday from 9:00am to 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Holyoke Merry-Go-Round, 221 Appleton Street, Holyoke, MA 01040, in her memory.
