Dorothy M. (Roach) Edwards

Dorothy M. (Roach) Edwards, passed away October 9, 2021 at Holyoke Medical Center after a brief illness. Dorothy was born in Augusta, Georgia daughter of the late Daniel and Julia Roach. She drove commercial and chartered buses for many years. Evangelist Dorothy was an anointed singing, preaching, woman of God. She never met a stranger. She is survived by her children: Angela Davis Ishom, George Davis, Girard Davis, Oliver Edwards, Jr., James Edwards, Domica Renner and her husband Tilman, and Trisha Allen.; many grandchildren including: Isiah Davis, Kyana Ferro, Kaleb Ferro, Olivia Jung, Ryder Davis, Tanaiya Davis, Maddox Davis, Eliah Davis, Tyler Bendisuk, Elijah Davis, Jada Davis, Jakaiah Davis, Malik Renner, Troy Renner, Isaac Renner, Jacob Renner, Noah Renner, and Sunshyn Renner; her sister, Blanche E. Siler; her aunt, Arrie Battle, and her sister-cousin Felicia Battle Jones. Visitation will be held for Dorothy on Saturday October 23 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm in the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke, Massachusetts. The family will have a private release of her ashes in her favorite places.
