CHICOPEE
Eddy Julian Robles “Papa”, age 31, of Chicopee, passed away September 11, 2021, after a brief illness. Eddy was born in Springfield, son of Eddy Robles and Misdalia (Burgos) Robles and was a graduate of Holyoke High School where he played basketball and football. Eddy worked many jobs in construction and landscaping and was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman who loved to barbeque and cook for his family and friends. A “family man”, family was most important to him. He was someone that people could confide in and look to for support. His smile would light up the room and he was a true caretaker, taking care of everyone with his unconditional love. Eddy will be sadly missed by his father Eddy Robles, mother Misdalia (Burgos) Robles, stepmother Damaris Semprit, his maternal grandfather Isidro Burgos, two brothers: Ethan J. Robles and Nathan Cardona, both of Springfield; a sister, Julie M. Robles of Chicopee; three beloved nephews Eli Julian Larkin, Jemini Cardona and Messiah Cardona; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Ismael and Aida I. Robles, and maternal grandmother Maria Burgos. Visitation for Eddy will be held on Friday September 17th from 8:30 to 10:30am in the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00am on Friday in Saint Jerome Church, 169 Hampden Street, Holyoke, followed by burial in Forestdale West Cemetery, Rock Valley Road in Holyoke.
