Elizabeth L. "Betty" (Harris) Bouthiette

Elizabeth Louise “Betty” (Harris) Bouthiette, age 85, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2022 at Care One in Northampton. Betty was born in Albany, Vermont, daughter of the late William H. and Jennie B. (Hensen) Harris, and grew up on a dairy cow farm, where she was a farmer before coming to Holyoke in 1972. Betty enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles. She was predeceased by her husband, Harold W. Bouthiette. Betty is survived by four children: Michael Bouthiette and his wife Ann of Holyoke, Jennifer Laramee of Holyoke, Bridget Bouthiette of Holyoke, and Joseph Bouthiette and his wife Kelly of Chicopee; eight grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a son-in-law, Jimmy Laramee, and her 12 siblings. A prayer service will be held for Betty on Monday November 14 at 11:00am in the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke. Burial will follow in Forestdale Cemetery. Calling hours are Monday from 9:00am to 11:00am.
