Frances Daniels Jones, daughter of the late Dan and Laura Daniels, entered into this life on January 30, 1940 in Americus, Georgia. She entered into the portals of heavenly rest on August 15, 2025. She was educated in the public schools of Americus, Georgia. Frances continued her education at Holyoke Community College in Holyoke, MA, where she received a degree in Psychology. She also worked at Westover Job Corp in Chicopee, MA. Frances was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Community Church in Holyoke, MA, where she served in the Gospel Chorus, Board of Ushers and so many other services. She was also a long-standing member of the Obie Knox Lodge of Elks, and the Aster Temple # 1199 on Spring St. in Holyoke, MA. Frances wore so many hats in her acts of service to God and others. She loved music and dancing, especially the blues songs of Bobby Blue Bland. Frances was a joy to be around and a pleasure to be a part of her life.

She was predeceased by her son, Proctor (Skeeter) Daniels, her husband, Frederick Jones, three sisters, Helen Nelson, Patricia Casella, and Lillian Wallace, and two brothers, Dan and John Daniels.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters Laurece Daniels of Springfield and Helena Jones of Springfield MA, a brother, James Daniels (Marsha) of New York; sisters, Barbara Scott of Windsor CT and Sarah Bacon (Odell) of Americus, GA. Grandchildren: Keyanna Daniels, Destiny Hinch, Davon Kennedy, Teka Jones, Sheena Jones, and Micheal Oakley; Great-grandchildren: Shatyia Daniels, Matheo Galanis and a host of nephews and nieces and friends that share in her memory.

Calling hours will be held at Friday, August 29, 2025 from 11:00am to 12:00pm at Bethlehem Baptist Community Church, 304 Elm Street in Holyoke followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00pm. Burial will follow in Forestdale Cemetery. The Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
