A very hard worker. Worked at Jahn Faundry as a machinist, construction worker, and many other side jobs, but farming and agriculture were the love of his life. He was devoted to his children. A very caring and loving man who left a very special mark in the hearts of many people. His love for the land was very unique. He worked many hours planting and working the soil. Loved to plant pumpkins, beans, and many vegetables. His heart was in gardening. In every vacant spot that he would come across, he would plant a seed. Loved to sing, especially folklore PR music. Trovador/Jibaro songs that he improvised himself.
Enjoyed playing dominoes and walking. Truly loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren with all heart (los nenes de abuelo). Very devoted to his family who are blessed to have shared many memorable moments with him (family reunions and vacations).
He was known as Abuelo to many, young and old (including all of the day care children). He impacted many lives by his genuine kindness, selfless giving, humble spirit, and beautiful smile. He leaves behind a beautiful multi-generational family. A true legacy that will never be forgotten.
Loved by many; neighbors, day care children, friends, family and El Camino Covenant community. Family would like to express our gratitude to the Holyoke VNA Hospice Life Care staff and Western Mass Elderly Care home aides and medical staff who provided such loving and tender care for him.
