Gayle Marie (Gresh) Jahn

Gayle Marie (Gresh) Jahn, born on February 3, 1949, went to be with the love of her life, her husband, Ronald Jahn, on Tuesday, October 31, 2023. She was born in Holyoke, daughter of the late John and Helen (Green) Gresh, and graduated in 1967 from Holyoke Catholic High School. Gayle worked at Curtis Business Forms until moving to Fort Lauderdale with her husband, Ron, of Springfield, after their marriage in June of 1971. Gayle and Ron were soulmates and Ron adored Gayle. Gayle relocated to South Hadley in 2010. She was a loving and kind person who put others’ needs above her own. She was a passionate reader and loved crocheting, and, most importantly, spending time with her family. Gayle will be missed by many and will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind: sister, Sheryl Beausoleil and her husband Leo of Rumsford, RI; sister, Faye Angers and her husband John of South Hadley; and brother, Gary Gresh and his wife Trina of Holyoke. Gayle loved her nieces and nephews: Wendy and Nikki Beausoleil, Jon and Samantha Angers, Joe and Mannie Angers, Drew and Emily Gresh, and Brieanna Gresh; and her great-nephews: Tyler, Danny, Warren, Lucas, and Ben Angers, and her great-great-niece and nephew, Molly and Finn Gresh. Besides her parents and her husband, Gayle was predeceased by her brother, James Gresh. Calling hours will be held for Gayle on Sunday, November 5th from 12 noon to 2:00 pm in the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke. Burial will be held at the family’s convenience.
