George Baush of Westfield departed this life on August 15, 2024. George was born in Holyoke on July 31, 1944 to Harold and Mary along with his four siblings: Karen, Kristina, Erik (predeceased) and Gretchen. George and his beloved wife and best friend Joan (Costa) had 3 children, Karl his wife Kathy, Kevin (predeceased) his wife Janet, Andrea her fiancé Dave. Five grandchildren: Joey, his wife Jess, Amber her husband Chris, Ethan, Nathan, Jeremy, and two great grandchildren Archie and Ambry. He established Hillside Auto Body in 1967 which his son Karl continues. George loved his family, friends, and horses quietly. He has walked the trail one last time with his horse by his side. The family would like to offer much gratitude to all that invested in George’s care. All services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation. The Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home in Holyoke is handling arrangements.
