George W. Shephard, Jr., age 72, of Holyoke, passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at Baystate Medical Center. He was born in Cooperstown, New York, son of the late George W. Shephard, Sr. and Anna Bell (Pitt) Shephard. George owned Partners Express in Holyoke for 47 years, working until his death. He was a 32nd degree Shriner, a member of the Antique Motor Club, and loved traveling with his wife. George is survived by his wife, Jane (Monaghan) Shephard; his children: Duane and his wife Cherri, Georgina and her husband Kevin, Nancy, George and wife Karen, and Paul and his wife Stephanie; his stepchildren: Pamela, Patti and David; fourteen grandchildren, many great-grandchildren including the love of his life, Autumn Rose; and his siblings: Lewis, Phyllis, Joyce, Robert, Betty, Lynwood, Kevin, Trevor, Chris, and Corey. Besides his parents, George was predeceased by his siblings: Susan, Ronnie, and Jeannie. Relatives and friends are invited to Mass of Christian Burial for George on Saturday, April 10th at 10 am at Jericho, 537 Northampton Street, Holyoke. Burial will be private and there are no calling hours; all arrangements are being handled by the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home.
