Gerald N. Corradino, age 77, of Holyoke, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, June 27, 2021 after a long illness. He was born in Methuen, MA, son of the late Michael J. and Theresa (Gentilie) Corradino, and was educated in the Methuen and North Andover schools. Gerry was a United States Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War. After his discharge from the service, he pursued and was awarded Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Education from Westfield State University. Gerry was an educator in many capacities in the Holyoke and Springfield schools, and also taught classes at Westfield State. He is survived by his wife Patricia (Salice) Corradino; a son, Christopher Corradino of Easthampton; two daughters, Jennifer Picard and her husband Richard of Ludlow, and Elizabeth McCombs and her husband Daniel of Epping, NH; and five grandchildren: Noelle, Gabrielle, Aaron, Nye, and Simon. A Prayer Service with United States Marine Corps military honors will take place on Saturday, July 3rd at 11:30 am at the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street. Burial will be private. A calling hour will be held prior to the service on Saturday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.
