Haleigh Elizabeth (Amidon) Merwin, age 37, passed away unexpectedly on January 1, 2026 at her home. Haleigh was born July 12, 1988 in Holyoke. Haleigh was an artist at heart. She loved drawing, knitting, crocheting, and jewelry making. Haleigh had a quirky sense of humor and always saw the unusual side of things. She married the love of her life Jeff Merwin on October 10, 2014. Haleigh leaves behind her parents Annmarie and Stephen Jenks; her siblings Miranda Flanagan, Christopher Amidon (Telesha), and Courtney Hoyt (Paul). She also leaves behind 3 nieces, 3 nephews, and a great niece. Haleigh will be missed by her large extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins. A Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 7th at 11:00am in the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke. There is no burial. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 9:00am to 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, consider a donation in memory of Haleigh to a charity of your choice.
