Helen (Janicki) Majeske, age 62, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2024 with her loving daughter and family by her side. Helen was born in Holyoke, daughter of Konstanty and Maria (Kietner) Janicki and was educated in Holyoke schools. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Cross Parish Church and the former Mater Dolorosa Church. Known for her passion as a hairdresser, Helen was the life of every gathering and, above all, a proud and loving mother. She moved to Michigan with her former husband Gerald Majeske Jr., where they raised their cherished daughter Brittany (Majeske) Frazier. Later in life, she returned to Massachusetts, spending her remaining years surrounded by friends and family as she faced health challenges, ultimately losing her battle with cancer. Helen is survived by her parents, Konstanty and Maria (Kietner) Janicki; her daughter, Brittany M. Frazier and her husband Thomas Frazier, of Canton, Michigan; three brothers: Tony Janicki, Johnny Janicki, and Edward Janicki; and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday October 25 from 10:00am to 1:00pm in the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, with a prayer service to be held at 1:00pm. Burial is private and at the convenience of the family.
