HOLYOKE
James L. “Bubba” Verville, 75, of Holyoke, Ma passed away peacefully November 5th 2021. Predeceased by his parents Emile Verville Sr. And Anne (Whelihan) Verville and his brothers Richard Verville and Emile Verville Jr .
James leaves behind his beloved wife of 47 years Kathryn (Coleman) Verville. His daughters Jenny, Emily and Amy Verville. His son James Ainsworth. His brother Jay Linddy. His grandchildren Mary Jane, James, Osiris, Justin and Hallie, Andrea, Holly, Dylan, Julia, and Jaxx. His great grandchildren Gavin and Madison as well as his much-loved nieces, nephews and their spouses, great nieces and nephews and many friends some he considered family.
James served in the Coast Guard as a young man and worked as a tractor trailer driver for 40 years before retiring.
Known by his friends and family for his world famous "Bubba" fries and always having an unlit cigar in his mouth James enjoyed and loved his family, NASCAR, car shows and cruise nights, going to Jennifer's Kitchen, dancing, telling bad jokes and hanging out with his friends. He will be extremely missed.
Services for James will be held Friday November 12th 2021 at Barry J Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke. Calling hours are 5:00pm until 6:45pm followed by a 15-minute funeral home service. In lieu of flowers the family asks donations be made to the March of Dimes, Donation Processing Center
