James Marten Wildman, Sr., age 62, of South Hadley, passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2020 surrounded by his family. Born on January 4, 1958, James was the son of Paul and Eileen (Stark) Wildman and was raised in South Hadley with his brother Dwight. James was a graduate of South Hadley High School, where he was a member of the marching band and performed at the Rose Bowl Parade in 1976. He was accomplished in automotive repair and continued to play drums throughout his life. James loved his children and was very proud of them. He enjoyed live music, the pets who lived with him, gardening, golf, attending UMass Hockey with his cousin Russel, and NASCAR. James is survived by 3 children: Jim Wildman and wife Amy; Kurt Wildman and wife Hillary; and Jocelyn Wildman; his 3 loving grandchildren, Henry, Molly and Connor; a brother, Dwight Wildman and wife Laurie; his cousin, Russel Adams; and special friend Deborah Carroll. All services are private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the South Hadley High School Band, PO Box 63, South Hadley, MA 01075. The Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
