Janice C. (Page) Bigelow

Janice C. (Page) Bigelow, age 72, a longtime resident of Holyoke, passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at JGS Lifecare in Longmeadow. She was born in Holyoke, daughter of the late Lionel and Lorraine (Benoit) Page and was a graduate of Holyoke Catholic High School. Janice was a homemaker who devoted many years to raising her family, and also worked later in life at Big Y. She was a communicant of St. Patrick’s Church in South Hadley. Janice was the widow of John T. Bigelow who predeceased her in 2014. She is survived by a son, Christopher Bouchard and his wife Elena of Oregon; a daughter, Jessica Madru of Chicopee; nine grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Gina Bigelow; brothers, Richard, Donald, and Stephen Page, and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and her husband, Janice was predeceased by a son, Adam Bigelow. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service for Janice on Monday, May 23rd at 11:00 am at the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke, followed by burial in Notre Dame Cemetery, South Hadley. Calling hours will be held prior to the service from 9:30 to 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dementia Society of America.
