Jeannette J. (Brisson) Breton, age 99, longtime Holyoke resident, passed away on Tuesday, December 3 2024.  Jeannette was born in Saint Gervais, P.Q. Canada, the daughter of the late Jean and Delvina (Fradet) Brisson. She completed her education in Canada.   The Breton family lived in Springfield for a time before moving to Holyoke in 1962.  Jeannette raised her family in Holyoke, and they were longtime communicants of Blessed Sacrament Parish.   Jeannette was the widow of Leo R. Breton who died in 2008.  Jeannette is survived by her four children:  Peter P. Breton and his wife Elizabeth of Northampton, Louise C. Breton of South Hadley, Francine S. Anderson of Southbury, CT, and Rita J. Miller and husband Dairen Miller of Holyoke MA; six grandchildren: Sarah Breton, Emily Breton (Kerry Brown), Rachel Breton (Thomas Totten), Clinton Anderson (Rebecca), Christine Hagist (Kevin), and Ashley Miller; four great-grandchildren: Clare Brown, Mia and Owen Anderson, and Charlotte Totten.   Jeannette was also survived by Clemintine Lebreque of Saint Gervais PQ Canada, Beatrice Larrivee of Saint Gervais PQ Canada, Alberic Brisson and his wife Jeannette of Agawam, Dollard Brisson of Montreal, Canada, and many nieces and nephews.   Relatives and friends are invited to gather for a Mass of Christian Burial for Jeannette on Tuesday, December 10th at 10:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church, 1945 Northampton Street, Holyoke.   Burial will be private.  There are no calling hours.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Breast Cancer Research Fund, 28 West 44th Street, Suite 609, New York, NY 10036. The Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke, is handling the arrangements.
