JoAnn Howlett, age 74, passed away at Baystate Medical Center on February 5, 2025. Born and raised in Holyoke, August 17, 1950 she lived the past three years in Agawam, MA.

JoAnn was a graduate of Holyoke Catholic High in 1968 and Holyoke Community College in 1970. She worked her entire career at Holyoke Community College until her retirement in 2012. 

JoAnn was predeceased by her mother Theresa Howlett in 2002. She will be sadly missed by her brother Stephen Howlett and his wife Frances of Southampton as well as her many relatives. JoAnn had a special place in her heart for her cousins Rachel Spirito-Wozniak and Heather Pirog as well as longtime friends Marsha and James Ryan and Nancy Nadeau.

JoAnn enjoyed listening to all types of music especially the Beatles and loved anything Wizard of Oz.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 15th at the Barry Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton St. Holyoke, MA. A calling hour will be from 11:00am- 12:00 with a prayer service at noon. Burial will be at the connivence of the family.
