Joanne Loughrey Lucey, age 90, of Easthampton, passed away peacefully April 11, 2025. She was born in Holyoke, MA, on June 1, 1934 to the late George E. and Madeline (Kiely) Loughrey. Joanne was a long-term employee of New England Telephone Company and an active member in the New England Pioneers Club. She retired in November of 1990. Joanne loved to attend family functions and travel to Maine for family vacations.  

Joanne leaves behind her children: James Lucey and wife Geraldine Lois Manley; Maureen Lucey and special friend Mark Adams; Barbara Lucey and husband Don Chevalier; and David and wife Anne Lucey.  She is also survived by her grandchildren: Melissa Lucey-Ginsberg, Matthew Lucey, Kevin Lucey and James Lucey and great grandchildren Magnus, David, Annelise and Lily. Joanne also leaves behind sister-in-law Barbara Loughrey, one niece and three nephews. Joanne is predeceased by her beloved daughter Kathleen and her husband Stanley J. “Jim” Mularski, and brothers George and David Loughrey and his wife Judy.

A private Christian Burial will be held at the convenience of the family at Saint Jerome Cemetery in Holyoke, MA. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, take your loved one out to dinner.
