It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Andrew Ilnicki, 74, on Sunday, March 30, 2025. John was born on August 8, 1950 in Waterbury, CT, the son of Frank and Ann (Dubay) Ilnicki. He is survived by his children: John Ilnicki, Christopher (Traci) Fiandaca, and Serena Hill; grandchildren: Andrew Ilnicki, Katherine Thatcher, Brandy Hill, Caleb Hill, and Caryn Hill; great-grandchildren: Oliver, Oscar, Cleo, and Carver; brother, Wayne (Jeanne) Ilnicki; sisters, Frances Haven and Susan Guaragno, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, John is predeceased by his brothers: Ray Leonard, Frank, and Paul Ilnicki, and sister, Jeannette Geraghty. He was also predeceased by his former wives, Gloria (Turcotte) Ilnicki and Ramona Fiandaca. John was a free spirit who lived his life “his way.” He was outgoing and friendly, always enjoyed get togethers with family and friends, and had a soft spot for kids, cats, and dogs. He will be greatly missed. All services were handled privately.
