John MacNeal Obituary

John B. MacNeal, age 24, died on December 26th, 2018. He is preceded in death by his father, Kevin MacNeal(7/24/2018) originally of West Springfield.  John is survived by his mother, Charlene (Meunier) of Holyoke, his sister Shannon Lee MacNeal and Craig DeSantis of Ware, his uncle Eugene Meunier and Sarah (Aunt Sally), his grandmother Karen MacNeal, uncle Kurt MacNeal, his aunt Kristie Haile, and cousins Gene, MaryKate, Jim, Nathaniel, Bret, Cody, Ashley, Alisha, and Briana.

John had been suffering with medical issues for a long period of time. He is with the angels now. John is remembered as always having a big smile, a big heart, and an “old soul”. He could always make you laugh and smile. John was a graduate of Chicopee Comp and a Former employee of Specialized Carriers.

He had many friends. His best friend Colton. His friend Joy, who taught him how to drive and was like a second mom. His friends Drew, Liam, Max, Jake, Justin, Bryan, uncle Joe and Jason K (sorry if we missed someone). He loved playing pool with Steve M., Gerry, Dan and Doug at the Granby Legion just as his father did. Sydney, Magen, and April- you will always have a place in his heart.
