HOLYOKE
John Patrick Haley, age 64, died at home on May 9, 2022. John was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, son of Patricia (Devine) Haley and the late John C. Haley, and was a 1976 graduate of Holyoke High School. John served in the United States Navy on the USS Enterprise before being honorably discharged in 1981. Growing up, he enjoyed skiing at Mt. Tom, golfing, and was a talented artist. John worked previously at Ronnies, EH Friedrich, and West Side Finishing. He is survived by his mother, Patricia Haley of Holyoke; sons, Liam Judd (Melissa) of Florida, Christian Haley (Manda) of Holyoke, and Ethan Haley of Holyoke; a step son James Farrell of Holyoke; a step-daughter Margaret Palpini (Joe) of Holyoke; two grandchildren, Macayla and Mia Judd of Florida; a brother Michael Haley (Ella) of Westfield; two sisters: Mary Haley (Sherilyn) of Haydenville and Kate Wesloski (David) of Holyoke; his nephew Michael Haley and niece Anna Wesloski; and several cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his father, John C. “Jack” Haley on April 25, 2022. A funeral service will be held Tuesday May 17th at 12noon in the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, followed by Committal with Military Honors at 1:00pm in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main Street, Agawam. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 10:00am to 12noon. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Willpower Foundation, P.O. Box 1244, Northampton, MA 01061-1244
