John H. “Johnny” Robert, 68, of Holyoke, MA, passed away on November 18, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Holyoke, he was the son of Elizabeth B. (Cloudman) and Howard L. Robert. John spent his life in Holyoke, working for many years at GRAPH-COAT and later at Anitec Printing Plates. Known for his strong work ethic, kindness, and willingness to help others, he was respected by all who knew him. He loved spending time with his family and working outdoors. Helpful, funny, and hardworking, John had a great laugh and a warm demeanor that will be deeply missed.

He leaves behind his daughters, Jennifer Rekully (Robert) and her husband, John, of Westfield, and Melissa Robert of North Carolina; as well as his grandchildren, Ryan Alicea, Dylan Rekully, and Breanna Rekully.

John is also survived by his sisters, Cheryl Robert and spouse Rose Williams, of Middleboro; Cynthia Brosseau and her husband, James, of Ludlow; and Lynn Owens of Springfield — along with his nieces and nephews: Jamie, Megan, Laura, Krystal, Christian, Joshua, and Kara. He will also be deeply missed by his former wife and best friend, Diane Robert (Moreau), with whom he shared a lasting friendship. The family extends their sincere thanks to the Holyoke VNA Hospice Life Care team for their compassionate care and support.

A private burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John’s memory to Harmony House at 66 View St in Chicopee, whose support is greatly appreciated.
