HOLYOKE: John Bryan “Jay” Mulcahy, age 66, of West Holyoke, passed away on Sunday, January 31st, 2021 at his home. He was born in Holyoke, son of the late John R. and Genevieve (Bryant) Mulcahy and attended Holyoke schools. Jay was a longtime Construction Supervisor and Carpenter, and owned Custom Carpentry by Jay Mulcahy. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Martha (Roe) Mulcahy; two sons: Adam John Mulcahy and his fiancé Christina Gusek, and Brian Christopher Mulcahy and his fiancé Tina Kasiak; three grandchildren: Jack Oakley Mulcahy, Zia Beaudry, and Eben Beaudry; two sisters-in-law: Paula Roe Mulvaney (Patrick), and Marleen Grenier; as well as his extended family and many friends. A celebration of Jay’s life will be held at a later date. The Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
