Joseph A. Barnoski III, “Joey”, passed away unexpectedly on July 11, 2025 at home. Born in Holyoke, Joey was predeceased by his parents, Joseph A. “Skip” Barnoski, Jr. and Janice Foley. He was raised by his late grandparents Joseph and Helen Barnoski and shared a deep loving connection with them.
Always a hard worker, Joey was a local union painter. He loved fishing, music, snowboarding, and enjoying the wonders of nature.
He is survived by his aunt, Mary Barnoski Blair of Russell; his “Pops” Dennis Doucette of Holyoke, his loyal dog and companion KoKo, his adopted sister Kristen Hartig, several cousins, and many many close and longtime friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday July 20 from 2:00 to 5:00pm in the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke. A graveside service and burial will take place on Monday July 21 at 11:00am in St. Thomas Cemetery, on Russell Road, in Huntington.
