Joseph W. Weibel, Jr., age 87, of Agawam, formerly of Westfield, passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, surrounded by his family, He was born in Holyoke, a son of the late Joseph W. and Anna R. (O’Brien) Weibel and attended the former Saint Jerome High School. Joe was a United States Navy Veteran serving from 1955 to 1959. He was the Proprietor of Connecticut Valley Rubber, Inc., in East Windsor, CT for many years. Joe was the widower of Carol L. (Willemain) Weibel, who died in 2019. He is survived by three children: Joseph W. Weibel, III and his wife Sherry of Bartlett, TN, Caroline Weibel of Dunedin Florida, and Michael R. Weibel and his wife Deb of Chicopee. He is also survived by 6 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren, and 1 great- great grandson. He is also survived by two brothers, Albert Weibel and his wife Judy, William Weibel and his wife Kathy; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at 11:45 am from the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30pm at St. Rose de Lima Church, 600 Grattan Street, Chicopee. Burial will follow in Saint Rose de Lima Cemetery, Chicopee. Calling hours will be held Tuesday morning from 10:00am to 11:45am. Memorial Contributions can be made to St Jude or Shriners Hospital for Children.
