Juan Vidal Martinez

Juan Vidal Martinez, age 56, of Holyoke, MA entered eternal rest Tuesday, May 9th, 2023, joining our Heavenly Father. He was born in Brooklyn, NY, son of Juan Vidal Martinez Semidey and Luz Maria Solis. Vidal was a man of strong faith and was an active member of several Catholic communities, including Sacred Heart, Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Our Lady of Guadalupe, and St. Jerome’s. Vidal is survived by his wife Carmen Martinez; six children, Celina, Elena, Natalia, Micaela, Damian, and Gabriela and his two grandchildren Joel Alexander and Valeria Inocencia. The Funeral will be held on Saturday, May 20th at 9:00 a.m. from Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Jerome Church, 169 Hampden Street. Burial will follow in St. Jerome Cemetery. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Friday, May 19th from 5:00 p.m. to 7 p.m.
