Judith A. (Casavant) Dunn

HOLYOKE: Judith A. (Casavant) Dunn, age 84, of Holyoke, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at Holyoke Medical Center. She was born in Holyoke, daughter of the late George D. and Dorothy A. (Wailgum) Casavant and was educated in the Holyoke Schools. Judy was employed as a nurse’s aide for many years. She loved to visit Hampton Beach, play bingo, scratch lottery tickets and watch game shows on television. She is survived by her husband of 62 ½ years, Edwin R. Dunn, her two daughters, Trudy Bovee of Florida and Lori Rivest of Holyoke, her grandchildren, Kimberly Bovee of Florida, Robert Roy III of Pittsfield, and Jessica Arias of Springfield. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Robert Roy IV of Connecticut, Micah, Isaac and Jacob Arias of Springfield and several nieces and nephews. A Prayer Service will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at 12:45pm at the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke. Burial will follow at 2:00pm at the Massachusetts Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main Street, Agawam, MA. A calling hour will be held prior to the service from 11:45am to 12:45pm.
