June (Evans) Cox

June (Evans) Cox, 92 of Springfield, died peacefully on Tuesday in East Longmeadow. June was born in Holyoke daughter of the late John Evans and Alice (Blair) Evans Haas. She was a graduate of Holyoke High School in 1946 and attended the School of Fashion and Design in Boston. June was Manager of Todd’s Clothing Store in Falmouth, and Petluck’s Clothing Store and later worked for many years at Caren Charles Clothing, both in Springfield. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Vernon Cox who died in 1991. June is survived by her children, Jeffrey Cox and his wife Lisa, of Hampden, Jennifer Cox of Middlebury, VT, Holly Pandolfi and her husband Ken of Yarmouth Port and Christopher Cox of Monson. She leaves her grandchildren, Michael Pandolfi, Lauren Alben and her husband Tim, Graham and Ian Cook, Gunther and Griffin Cox, and her great grandchildren, Hailey Alben and Archer Cook. June also leaves her brother John Evans of St. Pete Beach, FL and many nieces and nephews. All services will be private.
