HOLYOKE

Karen A. Insero, age 71, of Holyoke, MA, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. She was born and raised in Holyoke, MA, and was a graduate of Holyoke High School. Karen was a proud mother and homemaker. She loved her two children more than anything in the world. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She leaves behind her son Jonathan M. Insero, her daughter Jenna M. Bevins (Insero) and her son in law Joseph Bevins. She also leaves behind her two sisters; Christine Christopher and Leonie Kopacz; along with her brother, Michael Kopacz. Karen will join her parents Leo and Sophia, her brother Leon, and her husband Domenick in heaven. Karen will be fondly remembered as a loving wife, mother, animal rights activist, and friend to everyone. She was known for her kind and compassionate spirit and her love for animals. Karen was a wonderful woman that was loved, is missed, and will always be cherished. Private memorial services will be held on Friday July 24, 2020 at the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, Holyoke MA. Burial will take place in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery, South Hadley, MA.
