Kevin MacNeal, 55, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, July 24, 2018. Kevin was raised in West Springfield and resided in Chicopee with his family for most of his life.  He was employed at Specialized Carriers of Chicopee.  Previously employed at Chabot and Burnett Construction.  Kevin was a quiet man with a big heart.  He is the son of Karen MacNeal and the late John R. MacNeal of West Springfield.  He is survived by his wife Charlene (Meunier) of Holyoke, his daughter Shannon MacNeal and Craig DeSantis of Ware, and son John MacNeal of Chicopee.  He leaves his sister Kristie Haile of West Springfield, brother Kurt and Trisha of West Springfield, and brother Keith and Paula of Worcester, along with several nieces and nephews.  He will be sadly missed by all his friends at the Granby American Legion. Calling hours will be held on Monday, July 30th from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke. All other services are private.
